Description

A handmade American Eagle marquetry wood inlay. Cut into American Walnut Burr veneer background. The background veneer is join across the centre horizontal line. A wide range of veneers make up the American Eagle marquetry inlay. The wings of the eagle are in boxwood, the tail, head and the arrows are in sycamore. The body of the eagle is in dyed blue and red veneer with sycamore in the stripes. Dyed green and red veneer for the olive and berries. All the veneers are 0.5mm thickness. A very unique inlay with just one available.

The overall size of the American burr background veneer is 370mm wide x 305mm high. The size of the marquetry inlay is 250mm wide x 190mm high.

The marquetry inlay is in reverse with brown paper on the front. When the inlay is pressed and the paper is clean off the eagle will be facing the other way.
