Handmade sapele veneer marquetry inlay with only 6 available in stock. A splendid Marquetry piece, originally would have been used to decorate cabinet doors. Marquetry scroll work and an art deco design of a vase. There is a wide collection of veneers are in the inlay, ranges from boxwood to dyed blue. The background veneer is sapele but where it has aged over time, the colour is more of a brown colour then the classic sapele red.

The corners of the sapele veneer marquetry inlay have been cut out, please see in the photos, this is for a boxwood line. Currently there is not a line around the inlay, but we are happy to supply a boxwood line.

The overall size of the sapele background is 490mm high x 375mm wide across the middle and 298mm wide across the top and bottom. The marquetry size is 450mm high x 313mm wide.
