Description

Here is a handmade right border marquetry veneer wood inlay. The walnut veneer is the marquetry with the veneer grain direction going downwards. The background veneer is in a sycamore with the grain direction going lengthways. The marquetry border inlay is pointing towards the right side, we have the border pointing the opposite way, towards the left, please see the Left Border Inlay . All the veneers are in 0.5mm thickness.

The inlays are cut the same as the seaweed inlays, there is a fret saw gap.

The overall size of each of the sycamore length veneer is 578mm lengthways x 162mm high. The walnut inlay is 578mm lengthways x 132mm high. The ends of the walnut can be join up together, please see the photographs to see how. There is 2 lengths available for each of the directions.

There is brown paper on the back keeping the marquetry pieces altogether.

Originally would have been for a table border along the skirting.
