Description

Our Special B oval compass rose inlay makes up of 32 pieces in sycamore and dyed black 0.5mm thick veneer. The centre of the compass rose inlay is just like a star. It has 16 pieces with the veneers alternating as it goes around. All of the 16 pieces centre points meet in the middle creating the star. The next 16 pieces are on the outer section. These too alternate as the pieces go round. Each piece stops when it meets the inner section. As these inlays are oval, the vertical pieces will be the longest part of the oval size and the horizontal pieces will be the shortest. These inlays can be mirror paired, for example the black veneer starts on the top left side, on the next inlay we can start with the sycamore veneer.
